Webinar “Two Frameworks for Teaching Culture and Critical Thinking“

On February 14, the third webinar for English teachers from “The American English Live: Teacher Development Series 1” series under the theme “Two Frameworks for Teaching Culture and Critical Thinking” was held at the American Corner. The seminar was attended by teachers and lecturers from Šiauliai city schools and colleges. During the presentation, the lecturer shared the rationale for including culture in the language classroom followed by an interactive walkthrough of a lesson in which listening and intercultural awareness skills are developed.

The fourth webinar will be focusing on movement in the classroom followed by the theme “Keep It Moving: Ideas for Fun, Active Classroom Activities“ on February 28 (Wednesday) at 3 P.M. at the American Corner.
