Short description: According to Eurostat 80% of social network users are between 16 and 29 years old. Pew Research Center claims that 76% of teenagers use social media. Researchers also notice that social media has a direct impact on how teenagers perceive their own body and has a big influence on body image formation in young individuals. Often these the body image cult encourages ideals of thinness, body dissatisfaction of own body, body objectification, etc.

The aim of the project was to encourage youth to think critically and have the ability to evaluate standards of body, beauty, happiness, esthetics on social media and networks. By making this topicality relevant the project sought to hear the opinion of young people and provide them with tools of critical thinking.

The project had four main areas of activity:

  1. Poster competition #canibeme. A competition for the best poster on the topicality of the project. (https://savb.lt/lt/renginys/virtuali-paroda-jaunimo-plakatu-konkursas-canibeme)
