Short description: Šiauliai county Povilas Višinskis public library, in cooperation with public libraries of Plungė, Telšiai and Joniškis districts, organizes the “Idea Accelerator 2: Creative Academy for Young People” to bring together motivated, active and curious youth (10th-12th grade gymnasium students) from 4 different cities (Šiauliai, Telšiai, Joniškis, Plungė). During the academy, students will participate in creative workshops, listen to theoretical and practical lectures, attend educational classes and team building exercises. Classes will be led by professional specialists, artists, librarians-educators, etc. By actively participating in these activities, students will learn innovative methods of creative work and, by strengthening new skills, working in teams, they will create finished products – concepts of cultural events.
