In the early morning of March 7, children from Šiauliai Saulė primary school visited the American Corner. They got acquainted with the corner’s history, its uniqueness, what you can find and do in there. And of course, we talked about America! A hot discussion was going on about this country, states, presidents, the meaning of the U.S. flag and so on. Even some kids have already visited America! They shared their experience and boasted that it was easy to communicate in English!
Celebrating the friendship of the United States and Lithuania as well as the 100th anniversary of the restored Lithuania, children participated in the workshop by drawing flags of both countries. Children were really creative and made their own versions of the flags!
