On February 5, participants of the Erasmus+ project “KEY COMPETENCES FOR A LIFELONG LEARNING – KECO-4-ALL” (by Šiauliai Lieporiai gymnasium) from the Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, Portugal and the Netherlands visited the library. The project activities aim at developing literacy and multilingualism competences based on creative and technologically advanced methods.
Guests had the opportunity to take a closer look at the library and its facilities, as well as to find out what services and activities are available to visitors. During the visit, project participants did not miss a chance to see the American Corner, where they became more familiar with the United States. Since the project focuses on multilingualism, it was a great occasion for everyone to take part in a quiz about the States in English language, and the best three winners were awarded with souvenirs of the American Corner.
