The annual contest “Halloween Pumpkin Carving 2018“ was organized this year as well. On November 14, contestants came to the awards ceremony at the American Corner. This time schoolchildren from Šiauliai city and district schools submitted even 28 pumpkins, and the voting traditionally took place online. After summarizing results, it turned out that even 2 pupils shared both third and second places, and for the second year in a row, Gabrielė Pelutytė (Šiauliai Vincas Kudirka progymnasium,), who‘s pumpkin received 317 votes, won the first place.
All participants received diplomas and prizes whilst teachers who had prepared students for the contest got certificates.
