Students from Šiauliai University Met with the U.S. Embassy Representatives, 2018

On October 31, the American Corner had visitors from the U.S. Embassy in Lithuania – Assistant Public Affairs Officer Meghan Luckett and Cultural Affairs Assistant Jūratė Kirvaitienė. The representatives met with the students from the English Philology program at Šiauliai University to discuss the American literature, authors, latest books, etc. It turned out that students were interested not only in books, but also the living in the United States. They were keenly interested in both – the study and work opportunities as well as the differences between Lithuanians and Americans that Meghan Luckett has already noticed living in Lithuania for 4 months.
