This is a completely new, free of charge service provided by Šiauliai county Povilas Višinskis public library for families with young children. In Šiauliai, it is difficult to find such free short-term childcare services, and parents sometimes have urgent matters or activities that are not interesting at all for the little ones. Therefore, it was decided to provide short-term childcare services in the library so that parents have some free time to organize their needs, come to the library and pick a book in peace, participate in the event while children play under the supervision of library staff.
Who is it for? The services of the “Kibi Ribi” center are available to all adult visitors with a library reader’s card and their children aged 4-7. If you do not have the reader’s card, you can buy one at the library reception on the second floor.
How it works? The “Kibi Ribi” center is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 7 p.m. The maximum amount of time you can leave your child in the care of our library staff is 3 hours. The center accepts no more than 10 children at a time. You can register in advance at the desired time and check the availability of the center on the website www.kibiribi.savb.lt.
Does it cost money? No, this service is free of charge.
