The Ex Libris Fund of Gerardas Bagdonavičius at Šiauliai county Povilas Višinskis public library preserves works of the international ex libris and small graphics contest “M. K. Čiurlionis – 120”.
The donated collection consists of 280 ex libris and small graphics works Lithuanian and world artists. It was donated to the library on December 27, 2018, by Andrius Mosiejus, the head of the artists’ association “3X”. The collection features ex libris and small graphic works from 25 countries: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, Spain, Italy, Yugoslavia, Japan, USA, China, Poland, Luxembourg, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, France, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Finland, Ukraine, Germany.
There are no prize-winning works in this collection. The organizers of the contest wished to spread the message to the foreign artists about M. K. Čiurlionis, therefore they invited not to compete, but to participate in an international event, honouring the anniversary of an artist with the outstanding talent.
